In the course of faculty establishment, based on the actual
demand, school sets corresponding positions, employs teachers
on principles of public-oriented, equal competition and strict
selection and contracts with the qualifier. According to priority
of efficiency and equality, school sets up a stimulation system.
It prescribes that salary is on the basis of position and contribution,
which means, more contribution one does, more he will be paid.
Besides, it emphasizes on achievements, fruits, tilting to talents
of high level.
At present, school has an experienced team of faculty, which
has strong research background and can adjust to fostering various
kinds of students. A well-leveled group of teachers is initially
formed. In addition, school invites renowned experts at home
or abroad to work as visiting professors and researchers, in
order to enhance teachers' quality all around and help them
obtain a higher diploma. On the same purpose, some senior engineers
from frontier of software production are also recruited as part-time
teachers for school. The proportion of such kind of teachers
and professors are planned to reach 30 percent of the total
number.
On teachers' training, school develops a collaborative training
relationship in long term with famous IT companies like IBM,
Microsoft, Oracle, and Cisco etc. Teachers are regularly arranged
to attend such professional corporation trainings, through which
their capabilities are greatly improved in both theory and practice
aspects. It enables them to catch up with leading topics in
theoretical research and technical application, to keep their
knowledge architecture fresh and finally convert them into continual
improvement in teaching.
